Paywalls

The Paywalls page is where you wrap APIs and price routes. Services group endpoints under one base URL and auth config. Paywalls sit under a service — each one is a priced path with generated x402 and MPP URLs.

Services

Click New Service to create one. You’ll set:

Field	Description
Service name	Short identifier — for example `weather-api`
Description	Optional
Base URL	Upstream origin Proceeds proxies to
Authentication method	How Proceeds authenticates to your API
Mode	Testnet while building, Mainnet when you ship
Networks	Chains buyers can pay on

Each service shows a Mainnet or Testnet badge and its base URL. Expand a service to see its paywalls. Step-by-step: Create a service.

Inside a service, click New Paywall. You’ll set:

Field	Description
Name	Human-readable label
Slug	URL-safe id (or click Generate)
Allowed HTTP methods	`GET`, `POST`, `PUT`, `PATCH`
Path	Upstream path under the service base URL
Query parameters / custom headers	Optional — forwarded upstream
Price	Amount in USDC

Save & Activate turns the paywall on immediately. Each row shows method, status, endpoints (x402 / MPP), networks, and price. Step-by-step: Add a paywall.

Common tasks

Add another endpoint — open the service → New Paywall
Change a price — edit the paywall → see Configure pricing
Pause a paywall — deactivate it; in-flight payments still complete
Test — use the console Test Payment flow (Test paywalls), or pay from an agent
